I found this play using the OddsJam Positive EV tool and the value we are getting is clear. The Brewers are hosting the Giants tomorrow and are looking to avoid losing the first three of the series. We’re backing them to at least not lose by more than one based on what the betting markets are projecting.

Take a look at this value here from the EV page. Most sportsbooks are offering this bet for near the -200 range and we’re getting -165 on Fliff. We’re also beating the no-vig odds by a considerable margin, which you can see at the top right of the screen.

Finding sharp bets like this are how I consistently make money sports betting. In this example, I found the best possible price across all available betting sides and looked at the market trends for this bet. What you’ll see from the following chart is this line has crashed in favor of the Brewers, which is beneficial to our pick here.

We’re breaking down FanDuel’s market here and this line opened up around -180(which is a price we are still beating at Fliff). The line has sharply moved in favor of this bet, with the price for placing this bet going up exponentially.

What does that tell us? Data like this indicates that the sportsbooks expect the Brewers to cover the +1.5. They wouldn’t be drastically raising the price if they didn’t. With that knowledge in mind, we turn to another betting website to find the best possible value.
