Take a look at the screenshot above. Most sportsbooks have this play in the -160 range and we are getting -135 at Fliff.
I bet with the market data. Fliff is clearly an outlier here, and far away from what the line should be. I could fill paragraphs with baseball reasoning about why Ober will pitch deep into the game tonight, but that’s irrelevant. All those possible arguments are factored into the market by the sportsbooks.
Not every bet is going to win, but when we have a mathematical advantage through the odds then we will profit in the long run.
