I found this play on the OddsJam Fantasy Optimizer, which is a great way to easily identify profitable plays.

On JockMKT, if you win above 54.25% of your player prop over/unders, then you’re profitable long-term. The Fantasy Optimizer finds plays with a higher probability of hitting than 54.25% and highlights them in green so it’s easy to know which props to add to your entry.

As you can see in the screenshot above, Semien’s over 1.5 bases is highlighted in green. This means it’s a profitable player prop to include in your entry on JockMKT.

JockMKT is a fixed payout platform. This means that they do not vary your payouts based on selecting an over or an under. Because of this, I find player props like this one that is heavily favored at sharp sportsbooks and take them at lower implied odds at fixed payout platforms.

Look at the value we are getting. Here’s what DraftKings lists this line at:

By listing this line at -145, DraftKings is telling us that the market predicts a much greater likelihood that Semien goes over 1.5 bases than under. In other words, over 1.5 bases is the favored outcome.

On JockMKT, you always want to be looking for plays like this where one side is significantly favored and take that side. You’d NEVER want to take Semien’s under 1.5 on JockMKT when you see it for plus odds on sportsbooks like DraftKings.
