Pair of Profitable Picks for Friday Night’s MLB Slate

We’ve got a full slate of MLB action ahead of us tonight, and I found two profitable bets on Fliff to lock in.

Fliff is a great social sportsbook that I strongly recommend everyone downloads. Whenever I’m looking for profitable bets, I constantly see opportunities on Fliff.

Fliff is also amazing because since it’s technically a social sportsbook, you don’t have to be in a legal betting state to use it.

You can sign up for Fliff using promo code “ODDSJAM” or directly using this link for a first-purchase match up to $100.

OddsJam’s Positive Expected Value betting tool is your best friend for finding value at every book, and that includes Fliff.

The tool scans the market in real-time and finds outlier lines where value exists, and there’s a lot of value on Fliff. That’s how I found this bet on the Marlins.

Pick #1: Miami Marlins -1.5 | +115 at Fliff

6:40 p.m. ET

Take a look at this screenshot above. All the other sportsbooks have Marlins -1.5 right around the +105 range. Fliff is offering us +115, which makes a huge difference.

As you’ll see with my slip below, I hit this bet for $250 and it would pay $537.5. If I took Marlins +105 on one of the other books, it would only pay $512.50. That’s a $25 difference if the Marlins do indeed cover the run line.

Think about it. Just by line shopping and using OddsJam to find value, you’d win $25 of extra cash.

I don’t know if the Marlins will win tonight. I hope they do, but I’m not going to pretend like I’ve run a ton of simulations based on the lineups and advanced stats to come away with a prediction.

I leave all that dirty work to the sportsbooks, who have far more time and resources than I do to project games.

I just watch as they collectively determine where the market should be, and then I pounce on outliers like this that I find using the tools on OddsJam.

Pick #2: Logan Gilbert Over 4.5 Strikeouts | -105 at Fliff

7:05 p.m. ET

Here’s another great example of the Positive Expected Value tool. Fliff has Gilbert’s over at only -105, while most of the other sportsbooks are at -125. FanDuel is all the way up at -128!

This means that Fliff is inconsistent with the rest of the market, and there is a mathematical edge that the Positive EV tool has identified. I locked it in. Let’s cash both bets and start the weekend off right!
