It’s a fun week of baseball with a lot of rivalry series going on including Yankees vs. Mets, Rangers vs. Astros, Giants vs. A’s, and this one…Cubs vs. White Sox.

I found this bet on the OddsJam Positive Expected Value tool.

As you can see in the screenshot above, most sportsbooks significantly favor the under here. Caesars is at -147, while FoxBet is all the way at -154. Several others are between those two as well, making the -120 we see at Fliff an outlier from the rest of the market.

Marcus Stroman is pitching for the Cubs too which is good, but I don’t even pay much attention to lineups or anything. All that is baked into the market the sportsbooks set, so I let them do all the work and then find profitable bets that are outliers from the market consensus.

Not every bet is going to win, but when we have a mathematical advantage through the odds like this then we will profit in the long run.
