I found this play using the OddsJam NBA Screen and we are getting clear value on Strus’ under in Game 7. Take a look at the odds at ParlayPlay compared to other sportsbooks.

No other sportsbooks or daily fantasy websites are offering us 11 points for Strus’ total. The sharp play is to take the under with the extra half-point of value that we are being given. We are also getting favorable odds on this inflated total at -114, while others are up to -122 and -125 and Underdog Fantasy and DraftKings.

With other sportsbooks having 10.5 heavily favored, the market is indicating that the under is more likely to hit than the over. With that in mind, we are taking the under with the best odds. Always read what the market is telling you.

All of the picks displayed in green are mathematically profitable. Kelly’s over has a calculated 54.63% chance of winning, which of course is higher than 53.22%. It’s also worth noting that sportsbooks like DraftKings and Caesars are heavily favoring the over, with -145 and -146 odds.

We are getting the best odds across all sportsbooks and daily fantasy websites on a bet that has a greater implied odds of winning than what we need to be profitable long term. This is called betting with an edge and it’s something the sportsbooks rely on people not doing.
