It’s like the NBA is writing a script. Who would’ve thought we’d see this matchup in the semi-finals?! I surely didn’t…

Regardless, I’m going to bet on the series and (hopefully) make some money. In this betting preview, I’ll be taking you through a few “last minute” player prop bets for Lakers vs Warriors Game 1.

Pick #1: Dennis Schroder under 2.5 Assists at +120 Odds on DraftKings Sportsbook

My first pick for Lakers vs Warriors is Schroder u2.5 Assists @ +120 odds. This play is on DraftKings sportsbook.

As a sharp sports bettor, you’re just like an investor or day trader. You’re hunting through the market & looking for those rare, few opportunities that actually have an “edge” (e.g. are profitable/Positive EV).

I found this NBA prop bet on the OddsJam Positive EV Tool. This betting tool is pretty easy to use – just hit the bet in bold & highlighted in green.

The Positive EV Tool simply shows value in the market. Since sportsbooks set lines independently (e.g. each book has different odds), we essentially have dozens of data points telling us where a line should be set.

Schroder under 2.5 Assists is +120 odds on DraftKings, but this is pretty crazy value relative to the rest of the market. Just look at the ‘prices’ (e.g. odds) on Schroder under 2.5 Assists on other sportsbooks:

1. FanDuel: +106 odds
2. Fliff: +100 odds
3. Hot Streak: +110 odds

The average price on Schroder under 2.5 Assists is +103 odds, so getting +120 on DraftKings is clear value.

Schroder has gone under 2.5 assists in two of his last three games, and I love the value on this play. I tried to hit this prop bet for $500, but DraftKings sportsbook gave me a max bet size of $45.90, as seen in the screenshot above.

Sportsbooks determine max bet sizes, not you. Sometimes, it’s annoying to get limited to a lower bet size than you want, but it’s just part of the game. I locked in this NBA prop for the max I could ($45.90). I have a total payout of $100.98 if this play cashes.

Pick #2: Klay Thompson under 23.5 Points at -125 Odds on Fliff Sportsbook

My next NBA bet is on Fliff sportsbook. Fliff is an 18+ sportsbook that is legal in practically every U.S. state. I’ve been able to find a myriad of profitable betting opportunities on Fliff, so I’m definitely happy that I signed up for this platform.
