My first pick on PrizePicks is for Game 6 of Nuggets vs Suns. I’m on Devin Booker over 45.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists. I found this NBA player prop on the PrizePicks Fantasy Optimizer.
The Fantasy Optimizer is easy to use. You just want to hit the player props in green.
Essentially, to be profitable on PrizePicks, you need to win above 54.25% of your player prop over/unders. If you want to “nerd out,” I break down all math in this PrizePicks strategy guide.
As seen above in the screenshot from the Fantasy Optimizer, Devin Booker over 45.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists is 54.63% to win. Thus, this NBA prop is profitable on PrizePicks.
All sportsbooks have Devin Booker’s over 45.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists as the heavily favored outcome; the data is telling you that Booker’s over is a lot more likely than his under.
Plays like this NBA prop are exactly what we’re looking for on PrizePicks. PrizePicks is a fixed payout platform – they don’t change your payout based on you selecting over vs under.
Thus, the strategy for beating PrizePicks is pretty simple – find spots where sportsbooks have one side heavily favored. In this case, it’s Devin Booker over 45.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists for Game 6 of Nuggets vs Suns.
Devin Booker has gone over 45.5 P+R+A in three of five games in this series. We’re hoping for a big game from Booker!
Pick #2: RJ Barrett Under 5.0 Rebounds
My second NBA prop is an early pick for Friday. Sportsbooks have released player prop odds for Game 6 of Knicks vs Heat, and I found a sharp pick on RJ Barrett. I’m taking his under 5.0 rebounds.
I found this player prop on the OddsJam NBA Screen. As seen in the screenshot above, excluding PrizePicks, all sportsbooks have RJ’s line at 4.5 rebounds.
PrizePicks is too high relative to every other data point (e.g. sportsbook posting odds), so we want to take the under for Barrett. This is data-driven, sharp sports betting. It may not be glamorous, but it makes money.
In 2023, I’ve already profited $88,659.32 according to Pikkit Sports. Pikkit is a verified bet tracker. You sync your sportsbook accounts, and Pikkit will tell you your profit & loss, ROI, win/loss record, etc. Tracking bets is critical as a sharp sports bettor.
If you’re not measuring your profit & loss, then you can’t improve… In fact, you won’t even know if you’re profitable or not. It’s insane to me that most sports bettors don’t track their profit & loss with a verified bet tracker like Pikkit.
Anyways, I locked in six total player props in my PrizePicks entry. I have a 5 pick flex play, and I’m staking $100 to win $1,000 total if all five player props win.
My five picks are:
Leon Draisaitl Under 3.5 Shots on Goal
Nikola Jokic Over 9.5 Assists
Devin Booker Over 45.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Vince Dunn Under 2.0 Shots on Goal
RJ Barrett Under 5.0 Rebounds
