Sportsbooks have started to release player prop odds for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. In this betting preview, I’ll be taking you through my top player prop bets for Lakers vs Nuggets on Tuesday, May 16.
Pick #1: LeBron James Under 6.0 Assists on ParlayPlay
My first NBA pick for Game 1 of Lakers vs Nuggets is LeBron James Under 6.0 Assists. I found this sharp prop bet on the OddsJam Odds Screen.
As seen in the screenshot above, other DFS platforms (e.g. PrizePicks, Underdog Fantasy) have LeBron’s line set at 5.5 Assists.
All sportsbooks also have LeBron’s line at 5.5 Assists. In fact, all sportsbooks have LeBron’s under 5.5 Assists as the favored outcome. DraftKings sportsbook, for example, has Lebron’s under 5.5 Assists juiced to -120 odds. Thus, DraftKings is pricing the under 5.5 as the favored outcome.
Follow the data – ParlayPlay is too high relative to every other data point (e.g. sportsbook posting odds). We want to take the under 6.0 Assists for LeBron.
Pick #2: Nikola Jokic Over 22.5 Rebounds + Assists on ParlayPlay
Onto the next star…
I’m on Jokic over 22.5 Rebounds + Assists. This NBA player prop is also from the Odds Screen.
As seen in the screenshot above, aside from ParlayPlay, all sportsbooks have Jokic’s line set at 23.5 Rebounds + Assists. Here, ParlayPlay is too low relative to every other data point, so we want to take the over.
I have six total player props in my ParlayPlay slip. Three of them are for Game 1 of Nuggets vs Lakers in the Western Conference Finals.
