Sunday Night Football

Chargers vs. 49ers (-7)

Sunday, Nov. 13 | 8:20 p.m. ET

I wasn’t expecting the 49ers to get a full touchdown against the 5-3 Chargers, but I can’t say I’m surprised either. Chargers QB Justin Herbert hasn’t had the season he had hoped, and the Chargers, as they are every year, are completely banged up heading into this game.

The 49ers might legitimately run for over 200 yards against this putrid Chargers run defense, while I also expect the Chargers to struggle to score against this 49ers defense.

Chargers vs. 49ers Pick: 49ers -7 | -107 at PointsBet

Monday Night Football

Commanders vs. Eagles (-10.5)

Monday, Nov. 14 | 8:15 p.m. ET

The Eagles are currently 8-0 and have yet to trail in the second half for a single second this entire season. Yes, their schedule has been a pancake schedule so far and doesn’t figure to get that much more difficult, but they are still an elite team.

With that said, 11 points is just too much in a divisional game between two teams who have already played once this season. The Commanders are worlds better without Wentz at QB, and their defense has stepped up recently as well.

The Commanders keep this one within 10.

Commanders vs. Eagles Pick: Commanders +11 | -107 at PointsBet

Thursday Night Football

Falcons (-3) vs. Panthers

Thursday, Nov. 10 | 8:15 p.m. ET

If it feels like these two teams just played, it’s because they literally just did less than 14 days ago. The Falcons ended up winning on a field goal in OT in what turned out to be a wild game.

Since then, the Panthers might be on their third QB with Sam Darnold coming back from injury, and P.J. Walker getting benched last week. The Panthers also fired more coaches on Monday, in what has been the season from hell.

Too much uncertainty surrounding the Panthers, so I’ll lay the points with the Falcons.

Falcons vs. Panthers Pick: Falcons -3 | -105 at PointsBet

Seahawks vs. Buccaneers (-2.5)

Sunday, Nov. 13 | 9:30 a.m. ET

The Bucs finally got back in the winning column last week, with a last second victory over the Rams. With that said, it still wasn’t exactly an impressive showing.

The Seahawks, meanwhile, continue to prove people wrong after winning last week and currently sit at 6-3. I still don’t think that the betting markets have caught up to the Seahawks being a legitimately good team, especially with their improvement on defense.

A month ago, they were squarely the worst defensive team in the NFL, but they have been great in the past month and moved all the way up to 12th in defensive DVOA. I am still not ready to buy the Bucs.

Seahawks vs. Buccaneers Pick: Seahawks +2.5 | +100 at Tipico

Early Sunday NFL Slate

Vikings vs. Bills (-6.5)

Sunday, Nov. 13 | 1 p.m. ET

It’s hard to get a true read on this game, as Josh Allen’s status is up in the air at the time of this writing. He hurt is elbow in the Bills’ last game against the Jets, so we will have to monitor his status leading up to this game.

With that said, even if he plays I’d be worried if he would even be 100% as an elbow injury on his throwing elbow is obviously a concern for a QB. So, regardless of his status, I’ll take the points with the Vikings.

Vikings vs. Bills Pick: Vikings +6.5 | -105 at BetMGM

Lions vs. Bears (-2.5)

Sunday, Nov. 13 | 1 p.m. ET

Despite losing last week, the Bears came out of that game with legitimate hope for their future with Justin Fields at QB. Fields finished that game with 4 total touchdowns (3 passing, 1 rushing) and 178 yards rushing. With that said, the Bears have still lost five of their last six, so we are still waiting for it to translate to wins.

The Lions, meanwhile, finally got their second win of the season, beating Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. I like them to keep this one within a field goal, so I’ll take the points with the Lions.

Lions vs. Bears Pick: Lions +3 | -115 at FanDuel

Jaguars vs. Chiefs (-9.5)

Sunday, Nov. 13 | 1 p.m. ET

The Jaguars finally broke their five-game losing streak last week, coming back from 17 down to the Raiders to win. They had been close in most of those five games, just kept falling apart at the end.

I think they will be able to keep it close against a Chiefs team who struggled offensively last week in a hard-fought game against the Titans.

Jaguars vs. Chiefs Pick: Jaguars +9.5 | -109 at BetRivers

Browns vs. Dolphins (-3.5)

Sunday, Nov. 13 | 1 p.m. ET

The poor Browns played their best game in almost two months on Monday night Week 8, but of course, had their bye last week so they couldn’t build on the momentum.

The Dolphins, meanwhile, remain absolutely electric on offense but unable to stop anybody on defense. The Browns should be able to run the ball to a ton of success with Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt to keep this one within a field goal.

Browns vs. Dolphins Pick: Browns +4 | -107 at PointsBet

Texans vs. Giants (-6.5)

Sunday, Nov. 13 | 1 p.m. ET

Props to the Texans for playing the Eagles tough last week on Thursday Night Football, but they are remarkably untalented and out-matched against almost every team in the NFL.

The Giants, coming off their bye, should be able to take care of business at home with relative ease.

Texans vs. Giants Pick: Giants -6 | -110 at Caesars

Saints (-2.5) vs. Steelers

Sunday, Nov. 13 | 1 p.m. ET

Both of these teams stink, with the Saints currently ranked 23rd in DVOA, and the Steelers not far behind at 25th.

The Steelers might get a lift this week, with T.J. Watt possibly able to make his return from a pec injury that has sidelined him since Week 1, but the Steelers are so dreadful on offense that the Saints should be able to take care of business.

Saints vs. Steelers Pick: Saints -2.5 | -110 at BetMGM

Broncos vs. Titans (-3)

Sunday, Nov. 13 | 1 p.m. ET

Gross. I had almost forgotten how brutal the Broncos are over their bye week, but, don’t worry, Russell Wilson is back in our lives and probably doing high knees as we speak.

With that said, even if Ryan Tannehill plays, I can’t lay 3 points to a Titans team that is incapable of throwing to their wide receivers.

Broncos vs. Titans Pick: Broncos +3 | -110 at PointsBet

Late Afternoon Sunday Slate

Colts vs. Raiders (-6)

Sunday, Nov. 13 | 4:05 p.m. ET

After a circus week, the Colts have now taken the mantel of “biggest train wreck of the season.” They must be so proud.

To recap for those of you who might have missed: The Colts fired their legitimately good head coach on Monday of this week and replaced him with someone who has never coached at an NFL level before in Colts legend Jeff Saturday. Don’t worry, though, Colts owner Jim Irsay said it is actually a good thing that Saturday has zero NFL experience.

Laying 6 points for the Raiders is scary considering they are 2-6 and in the midst of a train-wreck season themselves, but even they should be able to beat this Colts’ monstrosity with ease.

Colts vs. Raiders Pick: Raiders -6 | -110 at Tipico

Cowboys (-5) vs. Packers

Sunday, Nov. 13 | 4:25 p.m. ET

This game had the makings of a good one before the season started, but the Packers are a complete dumpster fire this season, only managing to put up 9 points last week on a Lions defense that is rated worst in the NFL by almost every metric.

Aaron Rodgers might retire at halftime going against Micah Parsons and this Cowboys defense.

Cowboys vs. Packers Pick: Cowboys -5 | -107 at PointsBet

Cardinals vs. Rams (-3)

Sunday, Nov. 13 | 4:25 p.m. ET

Gross. The defending Super Bowl champs are another team that entered the season as a contender but has proven to be a total tire fire. The Rams are currently ranked 27th in the NFL according to DVOA, with the 26th-ranked offense.

With that said, the Cardinals watch the Rams turn into a disaster and say “hold my beer” as they are an even worse disaster.

Cardinals vs. Rams Pick: Rams -3 | -110 at Caesars
