Thursday Night Football

Jaguars vs. Jets (-1)

Thursday, Dec. 22 | 8:15 p.m. ET

The Jags are a tough team to get a read on. They have played well recently, winners of three of four, but that one loss was a blowout to the Lions where they essentially didn’t even show up.

With that said, the QB situation surrounding the Jets is concerning and the Jets have lost three straight themselves.

Jaguars vs. Jets Pick: Jaguars +1 | -115 at BetMGM

Early Christmas Eve NFL Slate

Falcons vs. Ravens (-7.5)

Saturday, Dec. 24 | 1 p.m. ET

The Falcons admittedly stink, but this spread is simply too high. As bad as the Falcons are, they somehow manage to not get blown out.

Despite having a 5-9 record, they have only lost by multiple scores one time on the season.

Falcons vs. Ravens Pick: Falcons +8 | -113 at BetRivers

Lions (-3) vs. Panthers

Saturday, Dec. 24 | 1 p.m. ET

The Lions are hot. They’ve won six of their last seven, and have a legitimate path to the playoffs after starting 1-6.

The Panthers just lost without much of a fight against the Steelers, so I’ll continue to ride with the fightin’ kneecaps.

Lions vs. Panthers Pick: Lions -2.5 | -107 at PointsBet

Bills (-9) vs. Bears

Saturday, Dec. 24 | 1 p.m. ET

This game is expected to be played in extremely cold temperatures, as the current estimate for the “feels like” temperature for this game is -11°

Despite the Bills being worlds better, they are also the better passing team, so the cold weather should effect them slightly more. Also, the Bears are similar to the Falcons in that almost all of their 11 losses have been decided by one score.

Bills vs. Bears Pick: Bears +9 | -107 at PointsBet

Saints vs. Browns (-3)

Saturday, Dec. 24 | 1 p.m. ET

The Saints won last week against the Falcons, but they have yet to win two games in a row this entire season.

The Browns, meanwhile, are fresh off a victory against the Ravens and become more dangerous as Deshaun Watson gets more reps.

Saints vs. Browns Pick: Browns -3 | -110 at FanDuel

Seahawks vs. Chiefs (-9)

Saturday, Dec. 24 | 1 p.m. ET

The Seahawks are cratering. After a hot start, giving them a legitimate chance of winning their division, they have now lost four of five, with three of those losses against bad teams with losing records.

The Chiefs, meanwhile, slept-walked through their game last week against the Texans, needing OT to defeat the one win team. I don’t project that to happen two games in a row, so I’ll lay the points with the Chiefs.

Seahawks vs. Chiefs Pick: Chiefs -9 | -108 at BetRivers

Giants vs. Vikings (-3)

Saturday, Dec. 24 | 1 p.m. ET

What a wild weekend of football for these two teams. The Vikings managed to complete the biggest comeback in NFL history, beating the Colts after going down 33-0 at halftime.

The Giants, who had been in a rut, defeated their division rival Commanders on Sunday Night Football to close to guarantee their playoff chances.

Both of these teams loves to play close games, which makes taking the points with the Giants too enticing to pass up.

Giants vs. Vikings Pick: Giants +3.5 | -115 at BetMGM

Bengals (-3.5) vs. Patriots

Saturday, Dec. 24 | 1 p.m. ET

The Bengals are one of the hottest teams in the NFL, while the Patriots just lost in one of the worst ways you can imagine.

With that said, I do like the Patriots to keep this close. This is another example in which the cold weather will effect the favorite, with this case being the Bengals and their explosive passing game.

Bengals vs. Patriots Pick: Patriots +3.5 | -108 at BetRivers

Texans vs. Titans (-5.5)

Saturday, Dec. 24 | 1 p.m. ET

The Texans have played two powerhouses tough in a row, coming close to beating the Cowboys and Chiefs in back to back weeks. The Titans, meanwhile, are cratering, currently losers of four straight.

The Titans are also dealing with an injury to QB Ryan Tannehill, making his status for this game up in the air.

Texans vs. Titans Pick: Texans +6.5 | -107 at PointsBet

Late Christmas Eve NFL Slate

Commanders vs. 49ers (-7)

Saturday, Dec. 24 | 4:05 p.m. ET

Every week I want to doubt Brock Purdy and every week he continues to prove me wrong. I also fear for what this 49ers defense is going to do to Commanders QB Taylor Heinicke, who is a gun slinger capable of turning the ball over multiple times.

Commanders vs. 49ers Pick: 49ers -7 | -110 at Caesars

Eagles vs. Cowboys (-5.5)

Saturday, Dec. 24 | 4:25 p.m. ET

This was supposed to be the game of the week, but, thanks to the Cowboys losing last week and, more importantly, the injury to Jalen Hurts, the juice has all but been sucked out of this one.

With the Cowboys losing last week, the Eagles just need to win one of their remaining three games to clinch the top seed in the NFC. The Eagles haven’t officially ruled Hurts out, and his injury is deemed minor, but they have all the incentive in the world to let him rest.

With that said, Eagles backup QB Gardner Minshew is no slouch. He is more than capable of keeping this close, or even leading the Eagles to an outright victory.

Eagles vs. Cowboys Pick: Eagles +6 | -107 at PointsBet

Christmas Eve Night Game

Raiders vs. Steelers (-2.5)

Saturday, Dec. 24 | 8:15 p.m. ET

Not the most exciting primetime Christmas Eve game in the world, featuring two teams with losing records and not a ton to play for.

The Raiders had a bad hiccup two weeks ago against the Rams, but have been playing good football outside of that.

Raiders vs. Steelers Pick: Raiders +3 | -115 at BetMGM

Early Sunday NFL Slate

Packers vs. Dolphins (-5.5)

Sunday, Dec. 25 | 1 p.m. ET

The Dolphins have lost three straight, but that ends here. I am not ready to buy the Packers as “back” after two wins in a row against two of the worst teams in the NFL (Bears and Rams).

Packers vs. Dolphins Pick: Dolphins -5.5 | -110 at DraftKings

Late Sunday NFL Slate

Broncos (-1) vs. Rams

Sunday, Dec. 25 | 4:30 p.m. ET

Gross. A matchup that seemed like it would be between two powerhouses preseason has morphed into the worst game of the year.

Broncos vs. Rams Pick: Rams +1.5 | -110 at FanDuel

Sunday Night Football

Buccaneers (-6) vs. Cardinals

Sunday, Dec. 25 | 8:20 p.m. ET

Not the best slate of Christmas games we have here!

The Bucs are going to host a playoff game thanks to their weak division, but don’t let the name value of this team fool you. They are awful.

The Cardinals aren’t good themselves, but this Bucs team has no business being favored to win by a touchdown or so.

Buccaneers vs. Cardinals Pick: Cardinals +6.5 | -107 at PointsBet

Monday Night Football

Chargers (-4) vs. Colts

Monday, Dec. 26 | 8:15 p.m. ET

It will be interesting to see how the Colts, under interim coach Jeff Saturday, respond to blowing the biggest lead in NFL history last week. Personally, I don’t have high hopes considering he was the most unqualified coaching decision made in NFL history.

Chargers have won two straight and keep the ball rolling in Week 16.

Chargers vs. Colts Pick: Chargers -3.5 | -115 at BetMGM
