The WNBA is back in action tonight and there is a surplus of discrepancies in the sportsbooks that we are going to take advantage of all season. For Friday’s opening slate, we’ve got a five-pick parlay on Underdog Fantasy based on mathematically-profitable lines. Let’s dive into it.

Pick No. 1: NaLyssa Smith Under 14.5 Points
I found this play using OddsJam’s Sportsbook Screen, where there is some clear value on the Fevers’ NaLyssa Smith.
OddsJam’s Sportsbook Screen page is incredibly efficient at finding mathematically profitable plays like this one. At Underdog Fantasy, you need to win your bets more than 54.7% of the time to be profitable. Anything less with result in a long-term loss.
In order to reach that 54.7% threshold, we need to find sharp bets like this one that give us an edge. An edge is best described as having a bet in which the odds we placed it at have better value than the market indicates it should be.
An example of this is taking a prop on Underdog with the implied odds of -121, which is what each leg comes out to in a five-leg parlay. If those legs on other sportsbooks are any higher than -121 with fair, no-vig odds, we are betting with an edge.
In this example, no other sportsbooks is offering us 14.5 but Underdog. Since we are getting an extra point of value here, taking the under is the play.
